Trained as a professional union apprentice at the age of 18 in western Pennsylvania. Moved to the Washington, DC, area in 1981, and worked for large commercial painting companies doing office buildings, hotels, government work, etc. Became involved with companies doing new residential construction painting production style, spraying with high standards, and learned how to spray enamel on trim and doors along with learning how to custom caulk and fill nail holes flush, and to sand the surfaces to a fine custom finish. Moved to Ocean City, Maryland, in 1987 and started my own painting business, specializing in new construction, under the C. Scott McCullion Painting before forming Delmarvalous Painting, Inc., in 2002. Obtained MHIC license in 2006 and have focused mainly on custom interior painting for individual homeowners and businesses since then.
